Retrospect: September and October

September

Awards Parade

Everything had started well for the cadets participating in the Awards Parade. They practised well in the morning, and when the afternoon rolled around, the Warrant Officers were ready...

...the markers were ready...

...and then our superior officer, General Mother Nature, decided that we should bring the parade inside...

...where the Flag Party was lined up...

...and our Reviewing Officer, Colonel Michel Legault, inspected the cadets on parade. Our then-Wing Commander, WO1 G. Oxley, escorted the RO.

October

Familiarization Gliding

In October, we were fortunate enough to go to the Embrun Gliding Site for famil flying. While some cadets passed the time by playing sports,...

...while others, like Cdt S. Hubert, got to fly with the Famil staff from Embrun, including our own WO2 A. Awad.
